Fortunately, your response to "I want you people to stop calling me" was slightly less stuttery and confused than your response to "I received this phone call already this morning."

My voice mail message now says "If you are a telemarketer, you can go straight to hell, because now you know I don't want to talk to you." But most of them are just 'bots waiting for the beep to leave voicemail spam, I think.

That's more or less what ours was.

We had one telemarketer with the balls to leave us a polite, amused message. I find that oddly appealing, but not enough to buy anything from him.
