I have a bruise on my elbow. It's been driving me utterly nuts for days. And, of course, it's hard to just stick a useful poultice on the tip of the elbow.

Except! We have ace bandages! So I had [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan wrap one around my cider-vinegar poultice to hold it on. And now my elbow doesn't hurt anymore. (It itches like hell, but that's from the bandage.) Must try to figure out a clever way of applying poultice to the back of my neck in a way that will stay, to see if I can deal with the dry skin problem in a way that keeps me from scratching it. (That would be mashed aloe or oatmeal, both of which I have handy.) (Need to go through and figure out what I need/would use for a proper herb garden.)

I am all full of fried rice. And I drove [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan nuts by stealing his scallions. (Mmm, scallions.) And we talked for a while after dinner about ways of making even more exciting fried rice, and variants, and stuff, and this was happy and domestic and comfortable.

I am also amused by how warm and fuzzy it made me to have [livejournal.com profile] dirtydianadd ask me if a story about a particular ex of mine was referring to her brother. It's nice having people around who knew me back then, y'know? Love youse guys.

BTW, RMmmmm people, the world is very small. I met [livejournal.com profile] morningwind, a recent IB survivor, through the temple I hang out at. ;)
