Section 36: 126 words. Stalled while I ponder a good cultural equivalent for the role of 'one potato, two potato' or perhaps 'scissors, paper, rock'.

Praise [livejournal.com profile] dot_cattiness, for it lets me be able to get out of stupid and useless arguments by letting me put the last words I need to say somewhere without perpetuating the drrrrama.

Better than I was. ([livejournal.com profile] jikharra, you helped a wicked lot. For reasons I can't really verbalise at all well, but thank you.) Remembered to eat. ([livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan brought me spaghetti while I was in the middle of major emotional meltdown. It got cold. I don't know a good way of repairing cold spaghetti, though [livejournal.com profile] autumnesquirrel suggested frying it later.)

My brain wants me to build a fountain named Zep Tepi. I have the image in my head. I don't have any of the materials except, perhaps, the bits of shattered flowerpot on the stoop. But it's a good excuse to buy Steve. I would be much happier with my brain and this project if it weren't demanding about a third of my RAM at a time when I can't do anything with it.

small datapoint -

If you have a microwave, spaghetti reheats quite well - the trick is to cover the plate with another plate for the first couple of minutes, so that it doesn't dry out around the edges.

If there's nothing ON the spaghetti, boil up some water and drop in the spaghetti for about 40 seconds. And any excuse is a good one to bring Steve home. Get a wee bit drunk if it helps you justify it. ;-)

And if there -is- something on the spaghetti, boil some water hot, put about half a cup of it in the bowl, and put the spaghetti on top, and cover it and let it steam. You can also do this with cold water and a nuker.

...and/or put it in a bowl with just a touch of water in the bottom and nuke it, then put butter on it. Mmmmm....

(You can also put the butter on it pre-nuking, but then need to be wary of the Scalding Butter Fiasco.)

Man, if yours only scalds you're doing well. Mine tends to explode. 8-|
