Yesterday's.
Don't remember much of this one. It had tremendously overweight (and very horny) budgies (as in, softball-sized and fluffy) and conures that consented to being packed into hexagonal stack patterns. This seems odd to me.

It also included a lot of travel by bus in a fairly urgent manner in the middle of the night, and my tiger-striped trousers (which have a tremendous hole in them). Though towards the end of the dream I came to the conclusion that my tiger-striped trousers were implausible in that role and implemented an edit semi-successfully.

It's not quite lucid dreaming, but it approaches it occasionally. I'm wondering if someone in here keeps track of when I'm dreaming or not and edits for continuity.

Today's.
This one was a really remarkably poly dream, in its way. And it seems to have been mostly set in the house in which I was a child, though a somewhat Escheresque version that didn't involve all the rooms.

At the party were a number of people I've found myself either potentially attracted to or actually attracted to. And a bunch of other people, too. And there was a lot of snuggling and the like, meandering from one of these people to another, arguing with some of them in an amiable manner, trying to figure out how to explain the whole poly thing to others of them, and generally having a good time.

In notes not related to the plotline, [livejournal.com profile] gwynyth was either there or telecommuting in via telnet, and was organising some broad SCA bardic or research or library thing. She'd worked out that the way to keep attrition from happening was getting about thirteen new participants each year, and given that people joining was significantly above that, she was not stressed about it.

Also, there was someone who was about ten who really wanted some of my cider mead, and I had a hard time trying to explain drinking rules to him. And the cider mead in the dream was looking like lemonade anyway, which was somewhat perplexing.

And my LJ client is misbehaving, how irritating.
