Ooh, sparkly.

When I rub the cats in the dark, not only do I get flickerings of sparks before my hand, but afterwards sparkles in their fur.

Humidity? What humidity?

ooohhh

Here yesterday, when it was -18 C, and pushing -26 with windchill, you could have had snow _and_ sparks. Or at least I'm assure my hair was sparking while I was brushing it, I could hear this but not see it.

Argh. My hair is going to be doing that all winter. I hate hate hate it.

Static electricity nice on cats, very bad on me.

That's what we've got. I have yet to handle our staticky cat (there are two, and one of them doesn't get static) in a dark room, but I can feel the sparks whenever I pick him up.
