I just saw an ad for non-acidic Vitamin C.

Yep: the non-acidic Vitamin C is a salt of the acid, such as sodium ascorbate.

I could quote you more while I still have the book entitled "Vitamin C: its Chemistry and Biochemistry", if you want to know :)

Hmmm then what is acetic acid? Is that vinegar? (I've forgotten all the chemistry I once knew....)
