He's a real nowhere cat. . .

Okay, I wasn't planning on taking a photo of my stencilling work to share with people until I had enough done that I could take a picture down the hallway that had all the stencilling done, because I'm compulsive about not sharing visibly uncompleted work and all.

Black and white cat on door with strawberry stencilling

I'm mostly impressed that he stayed up there long enough for me to go downstairs, find the camera, come back up, and take the picture (which also required getting the flash charged up).

Now, you see, I have an urge to watch the Nowhere Man sequence out of Yellow Submarine. For reasons that will probably be obvious to people who have seen the movie, or at least seen it recently, and completely and utterly opaque to everyone else. Maybe I'll watch Yellow Submarine while [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan is talking to [livejournal.com profile] suzimoses. Maybe I can get [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan to wash the popcorn pot so I can have popcorn too.

He is, indeed, deeply cute.... (And the stencilling looks good too; that's rather a good bit more than there was when I was there, isn't it?)

That is very sweet (and the stenciling is beautiful too by the way.)
I find it amusing even if I've never seen the movie. . .

I vaguely remember that sequence... and that's a wonderful picture. :)

He's balanced on the top of the door.

...

I find this astonishing. Perhaps he stayed up there because he wasn't sure how to get down?

No, probably not. It was an idea.

kitten pullups

When my family got our first kitten, he was less than an inch longer when fully stretched than the wavelength[1] of my bunkbed ladder. He decided he needed to climb said ladder to fully explore his new territory. He made it and was miffed that I'd felt it necessary to spot him. Tiny scrabbling indignant orange fluffball. Very cute.

[1] This is the wrong word. I know that. I don't think there is a right word, though.

No, but I'm pretty sure I can make it the right word through sheer force of repetition.
