Grocery follies

They changed the packaging on the shampoo I buy so I couldn't find it for a while. I hate that. I am a pattern-matcher, people, I wasn't looking for a wacky bottle with funky curves in, all renamed and stuff.

Related conversation, after locating shampoo but still whining about it:

Also: the fact that my beef jerky is labelled 'high in protein' makes me very, very sad.

Lollipops. I've seen lollipops labeled "FAT FREE!" as if there were any other kind.

I'm waiting for drinking water to be labeled "LOW CARB, 0 CALORIE, FAT FREE, ANTI-OXIDANT ENHANCING, NATURALLY HYDRATING BEVERAGE."

Well, bottled water (like all foods) must be labeled with "Nutrition Facts". From this label you can be edified by the knowledge that the water has no fat, no calories, and is not a significant source of vitamins A or C.

I haven't seen the anti-oxidant labeling, but I have seen bottled water labeld "Low Carb! No Caolories!"

It's almost as bad as the low-carb bread.
