I got my first BPAL order in the mail last week, and part of me is still in disbelief that I actually went ahead and ordered from BPAL in the first place. I've never worn perfume before. I just don't do perfume. But the imps have been pretty successful as offerings so far, which, y'know, makes sense; one of Bast's epithets is "Lady of Perfumes," and the bas-jar heiroglyph is part of Her name. (And the BPAL stuff smells lovely, so I'm enjoying it on just an "oooh, pretty" level, too *grins*)
I'm currently wearing Black Phoenix, which is very nice on me. And scents are so important for offerings! (I'm actually doing this in part as a Hethert devotional.)

And I'm doing this in part as a Bast devotional. :) I've never really used scent as an offering before (excluding incense), which seems like something of an oversight -- especially given its importance to the Names and the whole Bast-perfume assocation.

I also got the Nuit oil! I haven't tried it on yet, although I've been sniffing away curiously at the little imp bottle.
I've finally hit a point where I'm able to do more feminine stuff comfortably, even if I have to parse it in a weird way to do so, which is probably a bit of a relief to Her. ;)
I've been suspecting for a long time that my Mum is actually Hethert-Nut, so that's why I got the Nuit oil. Jasmine's one of the few sweet scents that I can abide. (I actually have a jasmine plant just over there --*points*-- it's my Wesir shrine.)
I got 13, which is all your fault. ;) And Black Phoenix, Nuit, and Blood. They also threw in eight imps, I don't remember for which things -- I'm going to have to look up what's in each of them at some point. :)
One of them savagely assaulted the storm door, though. Then wound up sitting on the stoop railing looking at teinedreugan and Lennon through the window and meeping hopefully.

I totally love the Anubis oil, which I got as an imp. A lovely rich resin blend.
