Trip down was spent sleeping, being cranky, and discussing the ethical syntax of sentences involving hats. Also listening to bitchy goth music because augh augh 'Rockin' around the Christmas Tree' kill maim destroy.

So what are the ethical issues in the syntax of sentences involving hats? (And do they relate to music by men without them?)

I am not sure I want to be thought of under such circumstances.

The syntax discussion had to do with issues surrounding how I can refer to arawen in social circumstances in which other people might be alarmed if I called him my lover. (You will recall the incident with the letter in which I was distressed to feel that I had not made a sufficiently true statement about you.) I determined that it would be sufficient to refer to him as one of the people who gave me the hat; teinedreugan was not certain what distinguished that from insufficiently true statements. We discussed the subject for probably over an hour, going at syntax, ethics, religious perspectives, and the like.
