Politics

Okay, here's the deal:

The guys who run the Hot Or Not site are trying to get people out to vote in the upcoming United States election. They're doing this by setting up a sweepstakes for people who commit to voting in said election, giving $100,000 to one person and whoever referred them. This is kinda cool, and I'm all for people getting out and voting. If you want to play (and are requisitely USonian), this link will sign you up.

While I'm pondering politics, I'm dithering about writing up my political beliefs in some detail and posting them here, just to . . . y'know, get it out of my system or something. I am trying to decide whether this is liable to be horribly stupid and get me into a lot of futile arguments that will just piss me and everyone else in the local universe off. Dither, dither. Any thoughts?

Also, Massachusetts local elections primary next Tuesday. Must be sure to go and vote for my local rep, who's one of the good guys. (Not only does he write back to email, he writes back to email strongly agreeing with me, in other words. ;) )

You could post with comments turned off, as a possibility.
