Other stuff in life too complicated to write about. Briefly: tired and feeling like all the rigidity has been boiled out of my emotional bones. Need to dye my hair again. Spending large amounts of time trying to vocalise the simplest sentences, because the whole language thing is just beyond that processor right now.

I henna it. This serves the dual purpose of making it actually behave and making Sutekh happy (because he's got a thing for redheads).

I'm growing mine out. I have promised myself that I will not cut it until I can get a braid in it. I'm not sure why a braid; seems earthy and rakish, I suppose. I have kept the back trimmed while the front grows out, but it is all down between chin and shoulder now.

I think it is a willpower test. Also, I need to find a good hairbrush.

I'm afraid I don't have any suggestions for hairbrushes; I have given up on them entirely and now use combs and violence.
