This is my third time going through Amsterdam if my memory is correct (previous times would have been 1993 so who knows about memory), and two of those times have involved hurrying through the corridors with luggage. At least I didn't have to border-check to get to the second flight, just run.

And my bag is in Boston now! I just need them to admit they have it.
