The Great FedEx Race
Item one, chair cushion. Ordered 20 September with promised shipping in ~3 weeks. Shipped 6 October with expected arrival today. Status: most recent update 6:51 pm Tuesday, 'Arrived at FedEx location' in Fort Worth, Texas.
Item two, KJ's plague doctor mask. Ordered 6 October. Shipped 7 October, expected delivery between 9-15 October. Status: most recent update 1:38 AM today, 'in transit' through Parks, Arizona.
Item three, magazine boxes for my office. Ordered 29 September; on 4 October, I got an apology email for the delay in shipping due to zombie plague. Status: shipped today, according to email, though most recent information is 'Shipment information sent to FedEx' as of 7:19 pm yesterday.
Who will win?
(I'm mildly croggled by everything coming by FedEx which is basically the reason I find this funny enough to comment on.)
In other news, the little men (three today; two yesterday) are about done with Square #3 as of this writing, so I expect they'll get partway through the Final Square before they knock off for the weekend.
ETA: A new competitor has entered the ring: just got a notification of what I assume is my copy of Recognizing Fascism shipping by USPS.
