The laptop I work on has decided that it doesn't believe in power anymore, it only believes in battery.

Currently continuing to work by swapping batteries with teinedreugan's computer when the one in this one goes dead, which will of course not work past tomorrow, as he's going to Utah again on Monday.

Computer will be going in for repairs next week. Will see if I can manage some level of competent backup and thus be semi-present in the world of online and able to work on things; not sure how well that will go, but hey, worth a shot.

Meh.

That's odd; usually they go the other way.

This one I'm typing on has taken up the position that batteries exist, but they don't have any charge, which seems to be a very common sort of laptop heresy.

I've got a spare laptop if you want to borrow it. Windows machine and doesn't have wireless...

I should be all right for contact with the outside world -- I can use the games box, at least. (Need to decide if I want to get an IRC program or just use ariel ...)
