My brother is having a very bad reaction to his essential medication.

They've put him on beta blockers to see if they can bring his heartrate down. He's going to see if there's anything else they can put him on tomorrow.

Apparently he couldn't bear to call me about it, and so he asked my mother to.

The meds that have doubled his heartrate are the ones that make him able to digest enough food to not slowly starve to death.
