As best I can tell, they've changed from storing that preference in one's user profile to storing it in a cookie on a per-machine basis. At least, that's the only explanation for why I had to change it on this machine and on the office machine.

Also for future reference, the link to fix it is labeled "browse options", and is located on the secondary hidden sooper-sekrit menu at the bottom of the My First Blog layout. (This is the menu that's in the top right of the Right Good And Proper layout, incidentally.)
