And if you do, against our better judgment because we aren't morons like the generic "yous" that do this sort of thing, tie a flag to your radio antenna you should do it in such a way that it DOES NOT wipe across your filthy windshield. But don't do it at all because flags are not designed to flap in a constant 55 MPH without shredding, which is hardly a way to honor the flag. You DO NOT tape a big flag to the hood of your car. Flying a flag the size of your gas station, especially one so big that it nearly touches the ground in still air, DOES NOT say, "I'm patriotic," it says, "I'm a dork." When you have used up and spat out a flag until it looks like the flag that flew over Ft McHenry in the Smithsonian the ONLY way to dispose of it is through burning.

Finally, your patriotism is shown by your actions, not by your attachment to symbols. The flag is to be honored for what it represents and is not something to wrap yourself in, though there can be exceptions: http://www.teemingmillions.com/images/calendar/july2004-lores.jpg
