I was having some sort of dream in which I was the human lover of one of the defenders of an elf fortress in something vaguely seeming like a video game, not tied into any particular mythology or world I knew, though the internal architecture was as batshit as Night Elf construction in WoW.
As the invaders were coming through the gate and my lover was gearing up to deal with them:
"No dying." (This is my standard comment for groups in Warcraft when someone hits about 30% health.)
"It'd be horribly embarassing to have to ask for directions to the Hall of Mandos."
He peered at me blankly, not getting it, and wandered off.
Somewhere later in the dream I wound up with custody of a magical fire-flower artifact due to all of the people who had better right to it being out of the room at the time due to invaders. There was some argument about whether it should go to someone with higher legitimacy, but apparently it'd kill anyone who tried that when it was bonded, so eventually they decided that killing me to get it back would be rude, especially since I'd dealt with a bunch of invaders with it ....
